The Seller

The Seller is Flowertheme Limited, trading as Dutch Quality Flowers. Registered in England and Wales at Companies House No. 15230912. VAT Reg. No. TBC.

Flower Service

These terms apply to flower bouquets, flower arrangements and houseplants ordered by telephone, by internet or at the counter of the Dutch Quality Flowers shop, 95 High Street, TQ9 5PB, Totnes, Devon.

Order Acknowledgement and Acceptance

For your order to be processed and delivered on the required date, you must supply us with all the relevant details of the recipient including full delivery details, postcode and telephone number.

Your order will only be processed if full payment details are given.


Orders placed at the counter can be paid with credit or debit card, cheque or cash. Internet and telephone orders can be paid with credit or debit card. 

If any credit or debit card offered for payment is declined by the card provider, we will make every effort to contact you on the number given at the time of ordering for an alternative form of payment. If, for whatever reason, we are unable to contact you and an alternative form of payment is not provided, the order will be cancelled.

You will be charged the current price for buying goods at the date you place your order. All prices are inclusive of VAT.


We reserve the right to change all or some of the contents or packaging to provide an item of equal or greater value without notice. All products are subject to availability.

Products may be delivered in bud to ensure longer life. Bouquet, arrangement and houseplant contents may be: harmful if eaten; a skin irritant - please contact us on 01803 840436 if you require further information before submitting an order.


Prices include VAT charged at 20%. A standard delivery charge will be added to your order. Ask us about charges to your address.



The delivery charge is payable per flower- or plant box , per delivery address, per transaction. We aim to deliver flower bouquets, flower arrangements and houseplants where possible, on the day you request.

Deliveries will not normally be made on a Sunday or on UK public holidays. Please contact us by telephone if you require a delivery at these times to see whether it is possible for us to make a special delivery.

We do not guarantee any delivery times unless the order is for a funeral or a wedding, in which case these orders will be delivered in good time, normally 1-2 hours before. We will always try to adhere to your requested am or pm preference wherever possible but this is only a preference and is not a guarantee. 

We deliver all orders between 8am and 8pm. We do endeavor to deliver before 5pm, especially in the case of birthdays, anniversaries and for deliveries to business addresses. However, we are unable to specify an exact delivery time.

Occasionally we may be unable to deliver due to non-availability of stock or unforeseen circumstances. If such a problem arises we will issue you with a refund of any payment made. This will discharge any liability for failure to deliver your order.


Whilst we make every effort to deliver your goods on your specified delivery date, we cannot be held responsible if we are unable to do this due to circumstances beyond our control. If you are not completely satisfied with your flower bouquet, flower arrangement or houseplant please call, within 48 hours of delivery on 01803 840436.


All matters concerning and incidental to any offer or agreement for the purchase and sale of goods from our shop shall be in English and construed and governed according to English law and the English courts shall have jurisdiction in all such matters.


Cancellation can only be accepted if received 48 hours before the requested delivery date or, if earlier, before any last given order date. Orders placed or cancelled on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays will be treated as having been received by us on the following working day. For practical reasons, flower bouquets, flower arrangements and houseplants are non-returnable. This does not affect your statutory rights. Please do not return any items purchased to the Dutch Quality Flowers shop as immediate refunds cannot be issued.

Due to their nature, these offers are subject to availability. In the event of supply difficulties, we will substitute flowers, houseplants or packaging of equal quality and value.
